I Agree with Erin Burnett About the Catholic Church

Poor Erin Burnett, "journalist" with CNN.

She just can't understand why the Catholic Church hasn't adopted all her bleeding-heart Liberal causes, because then, she'd, like, you know, like, well, return to being a Catholic. As if the Catholic Church is just waiting for her to grace them with her presence.

Yeah the silly buggers. I mean, just what are they thinking wanting to keep their traditions, beliefs and clinging to over 2000 years of history? What's not to like about women's rights, gay marriage and abortion by the bucket load?

Seeing as I'm a Catholic (disclaimer), I really, really have a problem with all these sanctimonious idiots who think that they have a right to comment, when they don't even identify as being Catholic. The Left have been apoplectic since Pope Benedict XVI stepped down, bashing the Church as being outdated and irrelevant. Yeah, that's why they have 1.2 BILLION followers, eh you bunch of ankers with a W. These loser Liberals have been speculating if it's time for the Catholic Church to join the 21st century and accept abortion, gay marriage, female priests, climate change (I kid you not) and every other bleeding-heart cause, since they are losing support. I say it's BECAUSE they've been infiltrated by Liberal scum and forcing their Liberalism on the parishioners that the Church has been losing support.

Yes, sure, there is a tainted history with the child sex-scandals. But, ask yourself this: why? Why would grown men enter the priesthood knowing they had a predilection for youngsters? Well, because they know they have a captive, innocent audience to prey on. Just like the Boy Scouts have been infiltrated by these pervert paedophiles, so has the Catholic Church  It's now up to The Church to sort this out, once and for all, and have a better screening  and accountability process. And if Catholic Church members are aware of what can happen, then they should ensure their kids have proper oversight, because we all know that these pervert paedophiles are slimy bastards who will smile at you, and at the same time fondle an innocent child behind your back.

And just to clarify, EVERY religion has it's share of perverts. Islam, Jews, and every other Christian sector. And even the atheists and agnostics. Or where do you think these perverts hide? Every sector of life has their little paedophiles waiting to pounce. The only reason that the Liberals have gone after the Catholic Church is because they know it's the most powerful Church to be destroyed. Once the Catholic Church is destroyed (they wish), then the rest of Christianity will be easy pickings. And their Utopia of an amoral, self-gratifying, indecent and easily manipulated world can be fulfilled.

So don't fall for all this propaganda. The true number of cases of child abuse in the Catholic Church aren't nearly as numerous as you may think. They have ramped the numbers up to make it appear as if it's out of control. Doesn't work - I can spot a fake 'abused' a mile away.

In any case, why is it important to not fall for the Left's tricks and to preserve Christianity? Well, even if you don't believe in any higher being (which is absolutely fine), Christianity (Judeo-Christianity) has at least civilised man and given him a set of rules to abide by. Our Western countries have been based on this philosophy and has made our great Western countries flourish, while others remain with their clocks stuck in the 7th century.

And the reason why we're seeing such amoral behaviour and a break-down in our family units today is because the Liberals have worked tirelessly to make our Judeo-Christian values irrelevant. Liberalism can then fill the void left. Because when Man thinks that he is the greatest power, then this power corrupts completely. If Man believes that there is a greater power, then there is something to fear and respect and to keep us in order.

Make sense?

So, Liberals can demand that everyone around them change to accommodate their enlightened views, but gee, no thanks. I would much rather live in a Judeo-Christian society, instead of one dreamed up by a bunch of narcissistic wannabe intellectuals who couldn't work their way out of a see-through plastic bag without tweeting about it.

Here today, gone tomorrow. But the Catholic Church marches on.

Yesterday, Erin Burnett gave her thoughts on the state of the Catholic Church and the new Pope.  Erin Burnett is a CNN anchor who is lucky enough to not be ethnic-looking.  You can watch her comments here, but this is the section I most strongly agree with (emphasis mine):
I do not practice now.  I am ecumenical, and I’m not alone.  Many people I know who were raised Catholic no longer attend Mass and many aren’t raising their children Catholic, either.  Whether it’s because of the sex scandal, the Church’s views on women, perhaps it’s openness to other ideas, like homosexuality.  The Catholic Church has a lot of issues but it does a lot of good for a lot of people.  The Church helps the poor and the lonely, and I bet there are a lot of people who might return to the Church if it changed.  After tonight’s celebrations are over the big question will be whether Pope Francis will be that change.
I just could not agree with this more.  If the Catholic Church wants me as a member, I have several demands.  It’s time to quit bitterly clinging to 2,000 years of teaching and tradition, based on what they believe to be Holy Scriptures.  It’s 2013, time to bend to the will of things I’ve read in magazines the past few years.

For example, the gym that I go to didn’t have much equipment for pilates.  But I read in a magazine awhile ago that pilates are good.  So I talked to the gym manager (the Pope of the gym, if you will), and he agreed to buy some stuff for pilates.  Why can’t the Catholic Church be more like my gym?

I’m not asking for much.  Adding my birthday as a Holy Day would be nice, I hate having to work on my birthday.  And can’t the blood of Christ be Code Red Mountain Dew?  Wine is GROSS.  Also, the stained glass windows at the local Catholic Church are taaaaacky.  The Pope should make them change the windows.  Something else I’ve noticed is that Buddha is really popular these days.  I bet the Church could bring in more youths if they switched to him for awhile.

So anyway, Pope, listen up.  Me and Erin want to be Catholics.  So just make Catholicism more convenient for us and everybody wins.

You have one hour.

  1. At least we still have an instition, that will not bend and have a lesbian abotion performing priestess.

The MSM were pushing for a black pope, I think there are 2 black cardinals or something like that, and they were always pushing for the blacks, since the USA has a black president, why can't the vatican have a black pope.

But those cardinals don't watch sky or CNN so the evil MSM can't taint them, and guess what, they chose a white as pope, and not the black to make the CC more palatable to those who are politically correct

I just wish the jesuits would live up to the oath of exterminating liberals.

    1. Forgot about the Black Pope angle. There are some wacky liberals within the jesuit movement, but luckily old Francis fought them all the way. It all bodes well so far....

My wife is a catholic and last night we joked if they chose a black pope. Next week half the cardinals would have been black(nepotism) and about a year from now the coffers would be umm, kinda empty. The pope-mobile would have got some serious bling..
Seriously though, wrt the article. The bible and word of God remains the same. Lesbianism etc is a changing fashion, the bible and God remains against it. The pedophiles masquerading as priests were never Christians, they used Christianity as a tool for their evil ways. Those protecting them is the same, they are not Chrsitians but sick , sick people.

    1. Haha - nothing would have been safe until nailed down.

You are 100% correct. The paedophiles entered the Church to get at the kids. Not the other way around. There is evil all around us and it's our JOB to protect our children from the nut-jobs.

For all its fault, the Catholic Church has done more good than bad. And that gets a tick in my book.

    1. You don't have to be sitting in Church every week to be in the presence of God. I think it's more importantly to live your life based on the Christian values than site in Church and sin the next day!

    2. I know that, but I like Church. I really do enjoy it.

Previous time I went a limp-wristed priest was shaking hands with exiting parishioners.

It really disgusted me. Being a limp wristed faggot is learned behavior.

  4. Ozzie: Could you stop using the "CC" and use "The Church" instead.

Respect the institution even if it sick locally.
