USA: Armed guard disarmed teen in Atlanta school shooting, says police chief

If you've been following USA news lately, you'll know that Obama and his commie-crats are making a massive push to disarm the American people. 

And just like any good totalitarian, Obama isn't letting a crisis go to waste - the crisis he's using to get the maximum emotional response in support of his gun grab is the tragic school shooting where 20 young lives were lost at the hand of a crazed shooter. 

The immediate response from the Left was a call to ban guns in America and have a 're-look' at the 2nd amendment. 

The response from the National Rifle Association (NRA), common sense people, and law-abiding gun owners was to: 1. Look into strict implementation of existing gun laws; 2. Look into how mentally unfit people are accessing guns; and 3. Put armed guards on school premises and in other 'gun-free' zones..

As logic would dictate, criminals or people who want to mass-shoot, don't head to a place where there are guns. No, they want to commit their misdeeds where they know they won't be stopped. Hence these mass murderers target gun-free zones like schools, malls, cinemas, and religious places etc. 

However, Obama and his fellow retarded Leftoids don't use logic or common sense when they shape policies - no, they have their theory and Utopian society etched in their minds and guns don't play any part in their Lala-Land. Hence why all guns are bad....unless they are protecting them of course.

So, the NRA and legal law-abiding gun owners are being shouted down, vilified, and drowned out of the debate. The media-elite have their marching orders and are beating out the anti-gun mantra religiously - anything to assist their comrade Obama.

The Vice President of America, Joe I'm-Not-All-There Biden was quick to slam the idea of armed guards in schools saying it would be a "terrible mistake". No Uncle Joe - a terrible mistake is when America re-elects a Socialist and his loony side-kick back into Office. Actually that's not a "terrible mistake" - that's a massive gaff of epic proportions!

So today I woke to the news that there was another shooting in a school in America. However, the radio guy they were interviewing from America was quick to point out that the shooter was stopped - he didn't have all the details, but maybe, just maybe, there was an armed person there to stop the shooter.

And here we have the mystery solved. Yes indeed! An off-duty ARMED resource officer, who just happened to be at the school, stopped the shooter. 

So, Uncle Joe, it's not such a "terrible mistake" to have armed guards at schools after all hey? I guess your stupid face is now covered with a lot of stinky, smelly egg; and you're choking on humble pie?

You see, these commie-crat totalitarians just don't have the brain capacity to see that people who break the law will just, well....break the law. 

You can put up as many 'gun-free' zone signs as you like. You can have metal detectors at school doors (which ironically this school had! and yet, a gun got through - nah, you don't say?). You can make it illegal to shoot people. You can make it double-illegal to break the law. Why, you can even ban guns completely - but guess what geniuses? The criminals DON'T CARE.

Atlanta • A student opened fire at his middle school Thursday afternoon, wounding a 14-year-old in the neck before an armed officer working at the school was able to get the gun away, police said.


Multiple shots were fired in the courtyard of Price Middle School just south of downtown around 1:50 p.m. and the one boy was hit, Atlanta Police Chief George Turner said. In the aftermath, a teacher received minor cuts, he said.


The wounded boy was taken "alert, conscious and breathing" to Grady Memorial Hospital, said police spokesman Carlos Campos. He was expected to be released Thursday night.

Police swarmed the school of about 400 students after reports of the shooting while a crowd of anxious parents gathered in the streets, awaiting word on their children. Students were kept at the locked-down school for more than two hours before being dismissed.

Investigators believe the shooting was not random and that something occurred between the two students that may have led to it.

Schools Superintendent Erroll Davis said the school does have metal detectors.

"The obvious question is how did this get past a metal detector?" Davis asked about the gun. "That’s something we do not know yet."

The armed resource officer who took the gun away was off-duty and at the school, but police didn’t release details on him or whether he is regularly at Price. Since 20 children and six adults were shot to death at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut in December, calls for armed officers in every school have resonated across the country.

Hours after the Atlanta shooting, several school buses loaded with children pulled away from the school and stopped in front of a church about a half-block away. Parents tried boarding the buses. Police who initially tried to stop the parents, relented and screamed, "Let them off!" about the students.
