Zimbabwe Close To Famine

The UN are appealing for $131 million for Zimbabwe this year to "address the outlying need for food and blah blah blah" (see YouTube video from yesterday below). Here you go UN, come fetch some money from me personally, you bunch of commie dictators.

So, let's recap. Zimbabwe was once the bread basket of Africa. In the good old days, they produced so much food that they were a procurement country for the world food program. In steps Robert Mugabe and begins his "land reform" program, which he sold to the world as righting the wrongs of the past (sound familiar?). Amazing that all during the South African apartheid years he behaved himself, too scared to try that crap with the Boers in South Africa ready to step in to help the Zim farmers. However, the minute the ANC took over South Africa, the inner commie came out in Bobby and he started acting like just another African dictator failure. 

Well, that "land reform" that he pushed turned out to be what everyone knew it was all along - a shield to hide behind to vindicate throwing White farmers off THEIR lands and stealing the farms for himself. All those years of building up those farms into productive units gone in a blink of an eye. He used his so-called 'war veterans' to intimidate the farmers and their workers, all so that he could take and reward his loyal government ministers and cronies. Some war veterans were given some land, but it mostly went to Bobby's pals. Of course, all this wasn't necessary and there are millions of acres of land in Zimbabwe which he could have handed over to his people if he wanted to. No, it was all a farce - another grab from the White have's to take for himself.

Fifteen years later and the Zimbabwe's economy has been shot to hell. People are starving and the UN are now out with the begging bowl, trying to giddy up some money to save Bobby's hide for him. Old Bobby regularly goes on TV to bash the 'imperialists' and 'colonisers', but is more than willing for these same people to feed the people he's forced into starvation. Moron. And what the farking useless UN should say is that we'll feed your people with aid money in exchange for you leaving the country and never returning. But no, they won't do that to one of their Black victimised brothers, pushed into doing what he's done because of the evil White people in the world. 

So from breadbasket to basket case.....but, according to Bobby, every year's failed harvests are always due to the lack of rains. Amazing that these lack of rains only seemed to have occurred after all the White farmers have been chased away from their land like rabid dogs. Not too bright is he, old Bobby. Just goes to show you how many geniuses are in the UN if they can still stand up and say it's due to poor rains and keep a straight face. 

These Blacks know how to protect themselves and each other. It's NEVER their fault.

An organisation of mostly displaced white farmers in Zimbabwe says upcoming harvests of maize, the corn staple, are forecast to decline by tens of thousands of tons and the nation will again have to rely on food imports and donor handouts.

The Commercial Farmers Union on Thursday said production in the former regional breadbasket remains in turmoil. It said blacks resettled on formerly white-owned farms seized since 2000 are "in dire straits" because they don't have the necessary finance.

Union head Charles Taffs said collapsing rural infrastructure may be helped by a new financial recovery plan by ex-farmers who don't expect to regain their seized farms.

Latest annual maize production is estimated at 833 000 tons, down by 60 000 tons from last year, compared to more than 2 million tons harvested in 2000.
