South Africa: Jansen 'ashamed of South Africa'

White South Africans have the tendency to celebrate non-Whites who speak logic and truth and hail them as the next great thing to save the country. We have become that desperate that any common sense by a non-White is held up as a new turning point. 

Take Prof Jansen as an example. He is the current University of the Free State rector and is Coloured (mixed race). 

However, Prof Jansen has a dark-brown streak running through him and he isn't someone I trust. He'll revert to type after his latest common sense brain snap passes, as he's never allowed a chance to kick Whites go by.

But, on this occasion I'm willing to print what he has to say as it is the truth. He told his  first-year students that it's a disgrace that you only need 30% to pass matric (Year 12) in South Africa and it's nothing for the government to boast about. I mean, think about it, the ANC has already dumbed down the education so that their IQ67 masses can pass. And then they dropped the pass rate down to 30% for the already dumbed down students to pass. Not anything to brag about, is it? That means you need to know less than 1/3 of your subjects to pass. And then these same students are allowed into university, where they sit for years failing year after year, taking the place of students who are academically superior, but who have a White skin colour.

Yes, this is the new South Africa, where mediocrity is rewarded.....if you're Black. Other races need to pass with flying colours to even get a sniff at a university seat. And the country is feeling it after 18 years of the ANC popping these imbeciles out en mass. And most of the White students who do manage to get a university education leave the country as soon as they can - doctors, nurses, teachers, engineers - you name it, they leave. Why? Because they see no future or jobs for them in SA. 

It's a sad state of affairs, but the ANC have brought this all on themselves. Without a skilled labour force, the country will continue to go backwards. 

But, you can't possibly expect the IQ67 government ministers to see the consequences to their actions.....but feel it one day, they will.

University of the Free State rector Professor Jonathan Jansen has told first-year students to work hard and not become like South Africa, it was reported on Monday.


"I'm ashamed of South Africa. It's an absolute disgrace that you can pass matric with a mark of 30%. [Education Minister Angie] Motshekga is making a giant mistake by boasting about the matric pass rate. It's an absolute disgrace," Jansen said, according to Beeld newspaper.

He cautioned students not to approach him with "sad stories and excuses like love problems", as it was a waste of time.

"I always make time for students, but before you make an appointment, my secretary looks at your academic record. If you've failed a subject, I'm not going to waste my time with you," he told 4 000 first-year students.

However, he invited students to contact him on Facebook and Twitter if they have problems.

Jansen said this year's first year students were the brightest in the university's 109-year history.

"You all are my children, and parents should be strict. If you pick up a stone and throw it on campus, I'll expel you. If you hit someone, I'll expel you. If you're angry, I'll expel you. If you treat a woman disrespectfully, I'll expel you," he warned.

"You may be poor, but you can behave decently, my mother always said."
