British MP Daniel Hannan delivers electrifying take down of Occupy

I'm a big fan of Daniel Hannan as I attended one of his speeches here in Melbourne last year. Mr Hannan is a Member of the European Parliament, representing South East England for the Conservative Party. He does not like the EU and regularly gives them a blasting with his upper-class clipped English accent. He believes in Capitalism and that Britain should be free to rule herself, not subjected to the whims of the EU parliament.

In the clip below, Hannan addresses the Young Britons’ Foundation and he blasts the Occupy Movement and the Too-Big-To-Fail bankers who are responsible for the collapse of the EU banking system.

He addressed three core falsehoods Occupy — and many Democrats – put forth:

1) The idea that we are living through a failure of capitalism, crisis of the market system

2) That the banking collapse was caused by a lack of regulation

3) The idea that we have been brought here by greed, by human weakness

He takes each falsehood and destroys them so eloquently. If only Britain had a few more Daniel Hannan's!
