It's that time of year again where I close the blog until mid-January to re-charge batteries and to take a nice long holiday with the family. This year I'm closing the blog a bit earlier due to circumstances beyond my control (home computer has crashed). And as it will take around two weeks to sort this out and recover my data, it's as good a time as any to sign off for the year. And I need a break from blogging!
2012 has been an interesting year. The highlight was going to be the voting out of Barak Obama. Unfortunately for everyone, this didn't happen and I must admit I was ready to hang up the gloves - what is the point of continuing to fight for what I can see so clearly, but others can't? However, I picked myself up, dusted myself off and decided to continue. Blogging is not always easy and it can be a thankless task, but I continue as I'm motivated by my readership. There have been many highs and lows, but we need to keep focussing on the good fight.
So, have a Merry Blessed Christmas and I wish you and your families a Happy New Year. Let's all re-group and think about what we believe in and how to stand up for our values and beliefs going into the new year.
See you in January 2013!
